Reconstructed Denim Jacket

Reconstructed Denim Jacket

370.00

Reconstructed from a denim jacket made in 2015 during my time at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, NY, which was originally made from upcycled denim - twicecycled. Drapey, asymmetrical, admittedly kindof a wild design, but more wearable than the original. (last photo shows original, second to last is a process photo)

Broad, straight shoulders, fits M-L (also a S if you have broader shoulders). There’s a hidden drawstring in the waistline (with hand sewn buttonholes) that can be adjusted, you can technically tie it at front to close the jacket, but it’s meant to be used just to cinch the waist to size.

MEASUREMENTS TAKEN WITH GARMENT LAYING FLAT:

WAIST: 26” can be comfortably cinched to 21”

LENGTH: Approx 32” at longest areas
